Position Summary: The Applications Administrator – ERP role is to oversee the entire administrative management practice for Enterprise Resource Planning custom off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications specifically the configuration, updating, maintaining, and patching of assigned applications. This individual is accountable and responsible to lead the technical team administrating all business processes, database, business intelligence, interfaces, and configuration management activities. This individual will develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and security of the system.
Provide technical direction, configuration and support through a clear understanding of the context of the ERP application suite and its usage to ensure the applications are running within defined parameters, configuration, and security. Review and assess ERP goals, strategies and assets along with everyday processes and procedures and compare those to available information technology resources.
Coordinates change management and promotion of ERP system changes from development to production: Perform ERP system administration activities on assigned COTS or custom software. Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements — verbally and through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood as well as potential ramifications.
Maintain Process Flows and Custom Interfaces and/or Reports: Define and manage ERP environment and ERP application security needs. Creation of: Custom Security Classes, Custom Roles (Actors), Users. Maintenance of: Distribution Groups, Printer Groups, Job Groups
Communicate and interaction with ERP application suite vendor(s) for issue resolution and/or technical support. Effectively identifies, researches and resolves any defects within the application suite. Has a strong technical and platform knowledge with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting application issues. Serves as a liaison between the technical, business, and ERP vendor.
Adheres to security and data retention policies, file systems, data transfers, and other established guidelines. Monitors and maintains application stability.
Assists with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options and communicating it back to the business stakeholders. Evaluates software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations.
Coordinates with other teams with existing enterprise technologies Install and support third party applications and interfaces within the application environment. Participates in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support an organization's (ERP) application. Write and revise software (SQL, Java Script, HTML, XML, .NET, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc.). ETL & data conversion skills. Knowledge of SDLC framework and Agile framework.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Valid driver’s license at time of application with the ability to obtain a Wisconsin Driver’s License within six (6) months of hire and maintain throughout employment.
Possession of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field OR five (5) to seven (7) years equivalent of working experience in configuring, administering, supporting, and maintaining custom off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications.
At least five (5) years of practical work experience configuring, administering, supporting, and maintaining custom off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications
Certifications of Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert and/or Microsoft Certified Professional.
Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets.
The ability to lift/carry up to 20lbs and push/pull up to 20lbs on seldom occasions.

High level knowledge of maintenance procedures using advanced troubleshooting skills. Manage stressful situations in a calm, courteous and efficient manner.
